Wet rooms are becoming increasing poplar due to a number of reasons.  Lifestyles have changed and the modern family now prefers to shower rather than bathing. This change could be attributed to our busy lives and wanting the convenience of an easy clean area. 
Wet rooms are very practical for the elderly and for special needs persons as they allow for easy access and room to shower with out knocking into objects.  Special rails, high toilets and alarms can also be fitted to facilitate a safe shower area.
The flat tiles and panels that we install will allow you to clean the area with a long brush in the upright position avoiding bending over. 

Wet rooms are very easy to clean as they have flat areas without recess and crevices normally found in traditional shower cubicles.
Typically the wet room is built in an open plan space where the drain is built into the floor so the water can drain away.  The floor needs to levelled in such a way that the water is able to drain out into the centre plug hole.  The whole area must be water tight and this can be achieved by using ceramic tiles and various types of waterproof panelling.
We recommend underfloor heating with newly installed wet rooms as it is a very practical time to fit in the system. Also heated rails can add comfort by providing warm towels after your shower if appropriate for you.
