RF Blount & Sons Ltd were contracted by the NHS Foundation Trust with the delicate job of removing the existing roof mounted chiller unit serving the A&E department and Fracture clinic at Kettering General Hospital

 

 The team assigned to this project replaced it with a new more efficient Ciat chiller unit. As the ground was not level at the new location a concrete base had to be installed to ensure the necessary support was in place for the new chiller unit which is located in a small courtyard deep within the hospital

 

The chiller was craned into position by the team and piped to the existing services. A new power supply was installed from the nearest consumer unit and BMS controls were fitted and integrated into the existing system
